Chhath is an ancient Indo-Nepalese Hindu festival, native to Nepal and East India. It is celebrated especially in the Indian states of Bihar, Jharkhand, and Eastern Uttar Pradesh; and the Nepalese Autonomous provinces of Koshi, Lumbini, and Madhesh.
